Wow I'm glad I found this little gem massive portion of good old fish and chips this was Cod and medium chips probably way to much. Nice friendly and fast service. A* would recommended this 100% you won't be disappointed.
I ordered my food via just eat. After waiting 3 hours just eat cancelled my order. However, I phoned this place directly through the phone number and I can no longer be angry at how long my order has taken to come. I spoke to a lovely lady over the phone and she was so apologetic and so helpful. I cannot drive so it was not a possibility to pick my food up for collection. Instead of ignoring and forgetting about my order she cooperated and found an alternate method to get the food to me. I am over the moon at how good the service is here and I really wish I got this ladies name because her and the owner of this establishment deserve all the credit.
Britannia is a great local chippy, and our favourite to order from. I've also just use Too Good to Go, to get a bag of lunchtime food that might otherwise be spoilage. First of all, I'm so pleased they are signed up to prevent food waste. The in person service is excellent and polite, and the surprise food bag was very generous. They even offered salt and vinegar for the chips, a nice touch! We especially love the battered chips, and the fish is always good quality. Would definitely recommend.

Had a selection tonight, fish, chicken, onion rings and a box of meats, had some orange chips too, very tasty. Cooked properly, just the right amount of crisp
Had an issue in the past with a delivery driver losing the food and the manager dealt with the situation delivering the food himself and was sincerely apologetic as were all of the staff. They are great with my little lad too and he nearly always gets offered a lollipop
